CCD leads Environment and Ergonomics group for ICCRA
CCD Managing Director David Watts will be charing the Environment and Ergonomics SIG which has a focus on the built environment and how its design influences operator performance.
David Watts, Managing Director at CCD, is leading the Working Environment & Ergonomics Special Interest Group in the International Critical Control Rooms Alliance (ICCRA).
David Watts said: "When it comes to control room design and practices, sharing expertise is important for what are often unique, specialist spaces. As such, we are proud to become involved with ICCRA and its mission so share good practice across sectors and countries."
An independent body made up of industry professionals, the ICCRA is a central source for bench-marking industry expertise and advice, as well as a research hub. ICCRA is the only organisation in the world which brings together the managers, directors, and operators of critical control rooms of all varieties globally, as well as delving into the range of subjects which are core to effective operation of control rooms delivering mission critical services. There are four Special Interest Groups: Environment and Ergonomics, People and Performance, Technology and Operations.
David will be charing the Environment and Ergonomics SIG which has a focus on the built environment and how its design influences operator performance. The SIGs will drive discussion groups, workshops, webinars, drafting white papers and conference sessions
